Vassilli LEBEDEV is Head of
Adventure travel department of Traveler's Association, Moscow, Russia. He is
teaching part time in Moscow State University, Faculty of Geography, Chair of
Social & Economic Geography of the Foreign World. His main responsibilities
include supervising new tourist products covering developing countries and
eco-tourism in Russian national parks.
Prior to joining Traveler's Association, he had worked as coordinator in India
for 'Teckhnopromexport', Moscow based corporation, and as import manager for 'Wimm-Bill-Dann',
leading Russian milk and juices products manufacturer.
V. Lebedev is geographer by training, with Ph.D. from Institute of Geography,
Russian Academy of Sciences and experience as Senior Lecturer in Moscow State
University. His academic interests are in the field of politics and political
geography of modern India. List of publications includes 8 papers. He is found
of soft adventure travel.
