Artur DEMCHUK is the Deputy Dean
for curriculum development and associate professor, Faculty of Philosophy,
Moscow State University (Russia). Currently he is in charge of developing and
administering an educational program in Environmental Policy at Moscow State
University. Artur Demchuk teaches conflict management and comparative politics,
conducts courses in negotiation skills training. His academic interests include
the political aspects of sustainable development, environmental policy and
conflict management, comparative politics and international relations. In
2000-2001 Artur Demchuk was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan (Ann
Arbor), intern at the Consensus Building Institute (Cambridge, MA) and at the
Key Bridge Center for Mediation (Washington, D.C.). In 2003 he was a LEAD intern
at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA, London, UK)
and in 2004 completed a traineeship at the Directorate General of Political
Affairs of the Council of Europe. |
