Peter Igorevich Ivanov, president of the Federal Center for Contamination Control in Moscow, has also been associate professor in microbiology at the Moscow Agricultural Academy. He received his doctorate in microbiology from Moscow State University and is a member of the International Organization for Mycoplasmology and the Russian Organization for Microbiology. As a LEAD Associate, he is particularly interested in biology and microbiological methods for measuring soil pollution.
