Olena Marushevska has PhD in Sociology
from Kiev State University, Sociology Department and last 5,5 years is working
in the Tacis projects as a publicity expert in the EU funded projects such as
“Civic Education - Ukraine”, “Transboundary River Basin Management,2 phase for
Pripyat river” She is also a member of environmental NGO “National Ecological
Center of Ukraine”.Having sociological background and more than 5 years experience in environmental projects, key qualification of Olena Marushevska are related to promotion of environmental information to wide public. She has significant experience in liaising relations between stakeholders in different cities and countries and central ecological authorities for development of jointly approved strategy of water resources management. In the same time, she also has experience in preparation of project proposals in the field of environmental protection and their further implementation
She is also the senior lecturer at Lavra university, leading some courses for students of Sociology departments such as “Sociology of Ethic Relations” and “Sustainable Economy”.
Olena has prepared over 12 publications for TACIS projects and 4 publications in sociological and environmental journals.
